Hi, we are travelling to Lake Garda from Milan Bergamo airport by charter coach - can anyone advise how long approximately this journey will take? Many thanks in advance.

Q. I'm also thinking of travelling from Bergamo to Lake Garda by train, but am wondering how easy it is to get a taxi at Desenzano rail station? Is there a taxi rank or do you need to book in advance?

A. There are normally taxis waiting at most railway stations, so there is not normally a need to book ahead, (unless it is a unusual time of day).

I also use them for day trips. They have convenient pick-ups all over the lake. If this is your first time at Lake Garda, or even if it isn't, I'd suggest their tour of the lake.
They also have a tour of the Dolomites, not to be missed, unless you get car sick or can't take the altitude.

Have a great time at Lake Garda. I am super envious!
